When Should You Book Your Boudoir Session for a Christmas Gift?

Sleighbells ring, can you hear them? Christmas is approaching fast and maybe you are considering a boudoir album as the perfect gift for that special someone. When booking your session around the holiday season the most asked questions is:

Let’s start at the beginning. . .
If you are ready to start your boudoir journey, the first thing we need to do is schedule a Discovery Call. You pick the time when it’s most convenient for you. Maybe it’s after you put the kids down for bed, before work, weekday night, or weekends only. It’s the first time we get to know you, your story, and the why’s and who’s regarding boudoir. On the flip side, you will also be able to get to know the story of how we got into this business and the impact on women that we have witnessed ourselves. There is no obligation to book or pay anything at this point. Let’s just chat and get to know each other! No pressure and no judgment ever.

Let’s meet in person!
The next step after your Discovery Call is to schedule an in-person consult with one of our photographers - Asif or Andrea. The timeline from that first phone chat to meeting your photographer in person is entirely up to your comfort and schedule. This could happen as soon as the next day if our schedules allow, or this can be stretched out if you prefer to sleep on this idea for a few nights. Our in-person meeting is a great way to check out the studio and meet your photographer for the first time. Asif and Andrea are available to give you a tour of the studio, show off our gorgeous products, and answer all of your Christmas gift questions. This is the time when you decide if your ready to move forward with booking your session!

Let’s Zoom chat before your session!
Once you have booked your session and it’s on the calendar, we will schedule a Zoom chat to go over your boudoir homework and see your outfits. This is your chance to touch base with your photographer before your session to talk about any further questions and feelings, and fine-tune the details of your boudoir experience. Depending on your and our schedules, we can achieve these first few steps within 1-2 weeks before your photo session.
Session Day!
Your session day has arrived and with the help of our guides and multiple interactions, you will feel well-informed on what to expect. This is essential to helping you feel comfortable when your big day arrives, and your confidence will transcend to your photos. Most women remark on how incredibly beautiful and confident they feel after their session is completed!

Time to see how beautiful you are!
After your session is done, you will come back to the studio to see your gorgeous images and make your product selection. Typically this is scheduled 1-2 weeks after your photo session and it can sometimes be just as anxiety-fueling as your photo day. Fear not! We will, once again, exceed your expectations. A one-of-a-kind slideshow of your images waits for you and, after seeing your slideshow, Nicki or Andrea will help you narrow down your images to your absolute favorites.

Pick up your stunning Christmas gift
Albums typically take about 4-6 weeks to arrive, from the time it takes you to approve the album layout until it is in your hands. With all this in mind, the ideal time to schedule your boudoir session is before November 15, 2020. Our process allows you to have the flexibility to take your time when considering a boudoir session. If you are under a tight deadline you must make your deadline known at the beginning of the process so there is no last-minute crunch. We want you to enjoy this process of rediscovering and appreciating yourself without having to feel rushed at any point.
