In the 10 years that we’ve had the privilege of working with our amazing clients, we’ve discovered that there are 7 lies that hold many women back from booking a boudoir session, even though they want to have this experience. We’ve chosen to uncover those lies and share the truth about each one. Every week we’re posting the truth about one of the lies and going live on Facebook to talk about it in-depth. For tonight, here is lie #3:

Lie #3: “I’ll have to get naked or wear skimpy lingerie.”

Youdo not have to get naked of wear skimpy lingerie for your boudoir session. In fact, you can even do a boudoir session fully dressed! We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all philosophy and, while we certainly offer helpful guidance for your outfit choices, we don’t force you to wear a certain type of outfit or not wear an outfit at all. In fact we take great measures to ensure that you are in the driver’s seat of where the creative direction goes for a uniquely personalized session, tailored specifically to YOUR preference!

Your reason for the session determines your wardrobe or the lack thereof. Once we discuss your reason, we offer suggestions for outfits that would work well for your desired outcome. We completely understand the anxiety of, “What should I wear?!” and provide well thought-out guides, consult calls, in-person meetings and video chats to help you decide which direction you’d like your session to go and what outfits are the best choices for your goals.

And whether you choose to be fully clothed throughout your entire session with dresses, t-shirts, sweaters, etc. or wear your birthday suit, we want you to know that what you’re comfortable with is perfectly fine! Our space is a place where you are free to express who you are and explore who you want to be. If this means your boudoir outfits include a dress instead of a bra and panty set, that is 100% okay! We can totally achieve your desired look and explore your femininity to create incredibly sensual photos.

We understand that lingerie is not for everybody so bring in your favorite dress or a t-shirt and booty shorts for your next boudoir session! You may be surprised how sexy you can look when you are wearing something you feel comfortable and confident in!
