Fairport Studio Closing

Wow, this feels weird. . . We’ve been right in the middle of our "Put Yourself First" campaign, which we've truly been so excited about. This was supposed to be a blog post about putting yourself first.
But instead it is an announcement about our studio closing.
Not what we were planning, that's for sure.
But it's interesting that this decision would come in the midst of our "Put Yourself First" campaign. Because in a way, that is exactly what we are doing by closing our doors.
Asif and I (Nicki), have been keeping the doors to this studio open in various capacities for over 14 years.
And it's been a wild, exhilarating, joyous ride. But not without struggles, stress, and pain.
The truth is, this isn't a sudden decision, it's been brewing under the surface for awhile now. The suddenly part is that this just settled in as the needed move for right now.
Timing is everything, as they say, and this suddenly feels like the right timing.
Closing the studio doors represents our choice to reach for what we desire without limiting ourselves, to prioritize what's present for us now, and to release our attachments to how our desires and dreams are to be manifested.
We are putting ourselves first.
And it truly is a difficult choice, but one that feels right deep in our bones.
What the future holds, we don't know. We are officially closing our Fairport studio location at the end of 2024, but Asif will still be available for location photography and you may see us again running specials at rented locations. We'll be sure to keep you in the loop and our website will still be active.
