What Does It Take To Be Our Muse?

You may wonder to yourself. . . what does it take to be one of the women featured on our website? The truth is, every single woman you see on our website and social media is a client of ours, not a professional model. Each one is an everyday woman, just like yourself! Our inclusive community knows of no singular body type, shape or age.
So with that said, we do occasionally offer “model” shoots, where we have regular women, not professional models, be our muse for the day! Sometimes our photographers want to try out some new lighting technique, feature a certain look/style, show off our new space, create content for specific promos/publications, etc. and we don’t want to try out these things with our regular-paying clients. So we are continually taking applications from whomever would be willing to be our muse and we will reach out to people as needed for the creative goal we have in mind.

What we require of you:
First and foremost, our requirements have NOTHING to do with you needing to look a certain way according to what society and media says is beautiful. We want to blow that false concept to smithereens!!! We only ask that you come as you are with an open heart, ready to take the lead of our photographers.
We are continually updating our portfolio and submitting our work to magazines, publications, contests and boudoir community websites which sometimes have specific themes. For that, we do accept model applications. Here is what that means for you:
You must sign a model release giving us, The Boudoir Studio, full rights to post and share your images on, including but not limited to, our website, our social media channels, advertising, promotions, printed materials and associated publications.
We will most likely request a certain look/style/color -depending on what images we need.

If chosen, our Muses receive:
A complimentary 1-hour session incorporating the theme that we need for our portfolio and or promotional material at the time.
5 Digital images emailed to you - high resolution files with print release for your personal use.
The option to purchase additional images, albums, prints or wall-art at our regular prices IF you desire to purchase, but it is NOT required.

Please keep in mind. . .
We do receive a lot of applications every month and only pick one or two applicants occasionally, as needed. We will reach out to you ONLY if we choose to accept your application. If you don’t hear from us it is because we reached our max and/or no longer need a model for the time being. We will keep your application on file for consideration for future model sessions as well.
