Bravery is Contagious

by Jillian Doores

Bravery is contagious.

What do you think. . . do you agree?

It’s no secret that it takes great bravery to embark on your boudoir journey! A woman may or may not feel confident within her self or with her body. The decision to leap down the rabbit hole takes trust, courage and the yearning to know yourself a little bit better.

Maybe everything you think looks bad. . . actually looks sexy.

Maybe you can find self acceptance for this precious vessel that has brought you here today.

Accept that you have transformed.

Accept that you are not required to be absolutely flawless.

The battle that we have with ourselves on whether or not we are worthy of sexy photos is something almost all of our clients may face. Once they start their unique boudoir journey, something shifts. The people around them notice.

Without a doubt, they notice that something has changed in them.

Would you tell them?

Would you satisfy their curiosities?

You know that they have noticed that you carry your head a little higher these days. They see how you are confidently representing yourself. Establishing new boundaries. Having self worth. You have shed the shell of your former self and unapologetically take this experience as a fresh start.

Bravery is contagious.

The quiet conversations around boudoir seem to get louder with each passing year. What once was a taboo industry has proven to be so much more.

Our clients say a boudoir session is life changing.

But, how can you keep quiet about your experience?

Maybe you have dulled our inner light for so long now. You’ve realized all the lies you have been telling yourself are nothing short of a waste of time. You truly can be who you are and who you are meant to be. And that is worth sharing!

Sooooooooo. . .

We asked our past clients in The Boudoir Lounge:

Who do you share your boudoir photos with?

The entire world
— Queen B

Everyone - and I suggest it to anyone who brings it up
— Queen T

I tell anyone, I even show some!
— Queen C

Everyone but my parents

— Queen K

Everyone.
— Queen E

To be honest, I don’t really have a circle. I told the people who were a part of the whole contemplation process, others have asked me directly or complimented my husband in my absence. Pretty sure some blushing is still involved, but the rush always comes back
— Queen N

Who DOESN’T know is the better question haha
— Queen A
