During the call we get to know you a little better in order to determine how best we could serve your needs or vision for your boudoir session. We get to provide you with all the details regarding our process, our philosophy and our pricing. While it is a brief call, we go over a lot of information so you can make a well-informed decision. During this call, you also get to feel our energy, passion and sincerity about what we do, as well as get a sense that we will hold a space that feels safe and comfortable for you to embark on your boudoir photography journey with us. If we are not a good fit for each other, no harsh feelings at all. However, if we are, then the excitement just builds so fast because we can tell this was just meant to be! It will be your introduction to the space and time created for you to tell your story. The team member you speak with will explain how the process at our studio works at every stage and answer every question you have. You’ll know about expectations, timing, and pricing before you make your decision to move forward. Already, your chin is going to be a little higher and you’re going to be more mindful to drink your water once you invest in yourself, having collected all the information you need to get ready for your first appointment. “For me, I think the importance of the Discovery Call is to get to know one another. I know I had some kind of vision when I did my first shoot and I know for my second shoot I wanted it romantic, spooky and timeless. My first time I was so scared because I didn’t know if I was going to be able to explain it correctly. Speaking to Nicki was like a breath of fresh air. I remember it being so easy, like I’ve known her forever! She just got me, and I’m like all over the place so that connection just confirmed I was making the right decision. Discovery Calls are about connection right off the bat, to ask those questions you may be scared to ask in The Lounge (our Facebook Group) or couldn’t find on the website. They are so important because without them, how do you know your photographer is truly going to understand you?”

“I experienced the discovery call from the perspective of a potential client. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised when Asif wanted to hear MY story. Not only was the call an opportunity to have my questions answered, but through speaking with Asif, I was able to clarify and express my intentions for moving forward with the process. It was because I felt really heard that I immediately felt like this was going to be about me and what I wanted. It did NOT feel like being recruited as another nameless body to pose for the camera. With a background in sales, I know when I’m being “sold” to and this felt very different. For me, I knew I was ready to go all in by the end of the call. Even though it was slightly terrifying to commit, it was also liberating and well worth everything I put into it…and then some.”
