This is because being a working parent is tough and there seems to be no time to stop and celebrate the parents who are trying to bring home the bacon while trying to raise decent human beings!

This week, The Boudoir Studio tackles the challenges of finding the balance between work life and family life. Finding the balance can be through trial and error or just learning how to perfect the juggling act. Check out each of our personal stories.

If you have had a boudoir session with us then you know. . . the experience is much more than just posing in front of the camera. Most of our clients are at the studio early getting pampered with hair and makeup, they get to know us and we get to know them. Every single client has been on some kind of journey that ended up with them arriving to us. Whatever journey they are on, one thing remains the same. Our studio offers a safe place for clients to open up about their journey in life and to be absolutely vulnerable with us. . .

If someone were to ask you to give up your children so that you can have your pre-baby body back (most days) your answer would be no. So here you are with no other choice but to accept your mom bod. Whether you are pregnant now, had a baby recently or three years ago, your body will never be the same! I am currently struggling with body image issues as I am now pregnant with my 2nd child. All the feelings of inadequacy have already rushed back even though I am barely halfway through pregnancy #2. So what better way to refresh my mind by reminding you and I to love our mom bods!?

We often hear stories of single mothers being born out of necessity and not by choice. It takes an incredible woman to take her future into her own hands and become a mother on her own terms. Lisa, our newest wonder woman, had a pivotal moment in her life and dared to take on the challenge. Lisa shares with us how her adopting journey unfolds while masterfully multitasking her 3 businesses that bring more love and joy into this world.

If someone would have told me, “Jill, when you download that Plenty of Fish (POF) App on to your phone, you will find your future husband and be pregnant in 7 months,” I probably would have just died right there, on the floor, from utter disbelief.
