Thanksgiving is right around the corner, what better time to reflect on all that we should be grateful for? A few weeks ago our guest blogger, Jes Lyn, wrote about how much practicing gratitude can change one’s mindset. I have to be honest, I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind! Back to school season is here! You may be wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of scavenger hunting for school supplies and adapting to new routines. During this season, quite often a mom’s sanity is forgotten on the back burner. Learning to Love my Mom Bod
If someone were to ask you to give up your children so that you can have your pre-baby body back (most days) your answer would be no. So here you are with no other choice but to accept your mom bod. Whether you are pregnant now, had a baby recently or three years ago, your body will never be the same! I am currently struggling with body image issues as I am now pregnant with my 2nd child. All the feelings of inadequacy have already rushed back even though I am barely halfway through pregnancy #2. So what better way to refresh my mind by reminding you and I to love our mom bods!?

We often hear stories of single mothers being born out of necessity and not by choice. It takes an incredible woman to take her future into her own hands and become a mother on her own terms.
