Boudoir at Home
We are 50 days into social distancing here in New York State. Some of us have embraced this time at home and the other half of us may be feeling a little stir crazy. Whatever side you find yourself in…
Wonder Woman: Reinventing One's Self
What is a Wonder Woman? She is so much more than just a guest blogger. . . she is opening up the world to her story of challenges and regrowth. Megan sought out The Boudoir Studio to mark an important time in her life. . . the reinvention of herself. Her inspiring story takes us through the fateful morning where she woke up and decided to change every aspect of her life. It took great bravery for Megan to leave a miserable marriage, change jobs and focus on her children all while dropping some serious weight along the way.
Here’s what she has to say:
The History of Boudoir Photography
March is Women’s History Month and a fantastic time to dive into the history of boudoir photography! Nude art isn’t anything new. People have been creating nude art with clay, marble, ink, and more for centuries. Even 28,000-year-old charcoal cave drawings were discovered in Australia! It seems like as long as humans have existed, so has our fascination for creating and preserving nude art. Here is a brief look into the history of boudoir photography.

5 Places to Display Your Boudoir Wall Art
At The Boudoir Studio, we offer many different ways to preserve and present your photos. One qualm that we would like to address is, “Where would you put an enlarged photo of yourself in lingerie?” This is actually something that I came across after my boudoir session. Hanging up an implied nudity photo over my couch would not impress my in-laws; however, I am sure my husband wouldn’t mind! There is so much time, thought and nervous sweating that goes into a boudoir session and some may feel that putting these images in an album tucked away is a waste. I mean, obviously all of our clients look sexy AF so why not display your photos proudly on your wall so you can be reminded of this. Every. Single. Day.
So let’s talk about location, location location!
A Boudoir Christmas Story
With it starting to look a lot like Christmas. . . what better way to warm your heart than a sweet boudoir Christmas story?! After the photos are taken, your favorite photos are picked out and an album is created, we very rarely get to find out how the story ends! We are so thrilled that one of our clients shared her story with us - why she decided to take these photos and how she presented them to her, now, husband. Check out her story. . .
Wonder Woman: Messy to Mindset Master
What is a Wonder Woman? She is so much more than just a guest blogger. . . she is opening up the world to her story of challenges and regrowth. Jes Lyn is no stranger here at The Boudoir Studio, she has done 2 boudoir sessions, a fitness photoshoot, and a branding session for her new business! Her inspiring story takes us through how she has overcome a difficult relationship, put an end to partying, is now managing multiple businesses and finally mastering her mindset. She is living proof that anyone can change their life to create more abundance and joy for themselves. Here’s what she has to say:
